About me
I’m a professional poker player from London who plays in tournaments & cash games all around the world. I travel to Las Vegas every year and stay for 3-6 months to play in the best poker rooms and private games around the world.
I started playing this great game in 2006 and I fell in love with it straight away, I wanted to get better so started to study the game to improve.
I soon discovered that the old-style image of a poker player, in loud gambling halls & playing with no skill was completely wrong. The modern-day poker players are some of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met.
Physical fitness and mental well-being are all part of the successful poker player’s mindset. I play poker for hours almost every day, I’ve studied the game and developed some advanced theories that are built upon very solid poker foundations.
Tutoring
I’ve been tutoring students for the last twelve years and I get as much enjoyment from teaching my students as I do from playing. I teach where ever in the world my students are. I am delighted to offer both one-to-one & group lessons, either face-to-face or on Zoom or Skype.
I tailor each lesson to help develop my students’ poker skills, whether they are already professional or recreational players. I feel that this is one of the advantages of this poker site; it means that I’m able to offer the personally shaped lessons so that everything is unique & nothing is generic.
I can teach everything from the vast spectrum of poker skills to the psychology of the game to the ‘tells’ (where I show & teach the subconscious information that every player gives to their opponent(s), such as body language & table talk etc).
I teach both ‘live’ play, (where you play in real physical games such as casinos) and online play (on computer screens).
